The Eric Bolling story has spread quickly online.However, It seems that this story is no where close to finished. CNBC is most likely pursuing a lawsuit to go after Bolling. While this case is still being kept on the down low, we do know that CNBC has hired Proskauer Rose, one of the most expensive and ruthless law firms in New York to pursue this matter. Preliminarily it would seem that CNBC has held Bolling to his contratual non-compete obligation. This may or may not mean that we will see some more one time appearances on FOX shows until his contract runs out.
Many people are buzzing about the news. Eric Bolling "The Admiral" aka Mr. White Teeth is moving on over to Fox Business News. But how can this be when I just saw him on his home CNBC on Fast Money. It may have seemed like the good ole days on Fast Money tonight. All the good ole boys from Strazzini to Macke were there. However, there was a storm a brewing on the horizon.The show was a repeat. Eric Bolling is indeed still going to Rupert Murdochs Fox. It would seem that he is fulfilling his contractual obligations. "A CNBC lawyer wrote Bolling that the channel is "gravely concerned" that he had violated his contract, which "generally prohibits you from providing on-air television services except to CNBC." Bolling had sued unsuccessfully to overturn the non-compete clause, which lasts for six months after his departure."
It sounds like CNBC might be becoming a bit of a spoiled sport. Who wouldnt become one under the circumstances. It is also rumored that Fox is in the process of signing Tim Strazzini. They have already stolen Liz Claman, and Maria or Erin are next. If CNBC wants to survive it had better start playing hard ball with Murdoch instead of playing Ed Sullivan 50's music infomercials.
